K'Hadree Hooker Commits To NC State

New, 6 comments

Hooker is a 6-2, 280 pound defensive tackle and a longtime NC State lean. He made his college choice official tonight:

Rivals.com ranks Hooker as a three-star prospect, the No. 15 player in his home state and the No. 35 defensive tackle in the land. Hooker checked in at No. 8 on The Wolfpacker's ranking of the top 50 players in the state.

He also had offers from Auburn, South Carolina, Virginia Tech, Georgia Tech, UNC, Duke...

According to his Scout.com profile, Hooker blocked five kicks during his junior season, which is awesome. It's a shame the talent gap closes in college to the point where fat guy kick blocks are rare. Hooker is the 13th member of NC State's 2012 recruiting class.
