Tampa-Pack’s ACC Football Power Rankings - Week Nine

I think TOB might have just punched his ticket to an early retirement this fall. That game, in combination with the UT and Miami losses, have taken the shine off what could’ve and should’ve been a special season. It isn’t like we’re loaded with talent next season. When do we open up the candidate pool??

(1) Florida State - The Seminoles took care of Division leading Duke.

(2) Clemson - Pretty much locked into second, hoping for another FSU loss.

(3) North Carolina - Yea, they won their bowl game...

(4) NC State - Uggh! Don’t play for overtime, and if you’re going to anyway kick the damn ball out of bounds....

(6) Virginia Tech - Got the week off, probably a good thing,

(4) Duke - Didn’t fair so well in the battle of division leaders. Might get a shot at a rematch.

(7) Miami - Enjoyed a bye week with Hurricane Sandy off the coast.

(8) Maryland - Where does losing to BC fall on the pyramid?

(9) Georgia Tech - Making the ACC proud and giving BYU its first road win of the season.

(10) Wake Forest - Ran into a Clemson team on fire Thursday evening.

(12) Boston College - Topped Maryland at home for their first conference win.

(11) Virginia - A BC win means welcome to the bottom, even during your bye week.

(X) indicates previous ranking. As always, I welcome your feedback and thoughts. Go PACK!
