I don't know what there is to say about that game because I don't have the strength to make jokes right now. These guys have been so close to breakthrough wins all season and they just have not been able to finish the job. I feel terrible for the players. I just hope they're better at mental recovery than I am, because there's another very important game on Saturday. I won't be ready, but maybe they will be.
I don't know why it always seems like it has to be this way. It's not, of course, but it takes 10 wins of similar magnitude to erase one loss like this in the selective pantheon of what we imagine to be NC State Shit.
We got some guys who get a serious case of the stupids when it comes to playing defense, and for some reason they go back to the same old habits game after game despite the fact that those habits have been overwhelmingly rejected by officials in the past. I wish that would change, but you know, I really like this team anyway.
