The Buffalo Bills must have liked what they saw from T.J. Graham because they traded up to grab him with the 69th overall pick (No. 6 of the third round) in the 2012 NFL Draft.
This pick may be a bit of an unknown to Bills fans - and Graham is highly unpolished - but he's the type of athletic receiver with run-after-catch ability that can really do some damage in Chan Gailey's spread-style, boundary-to-boundary passing attack. Bills GM Buddy Nix said in January that the team needed a quicker guy like Roscoe Parrish to effectively run Gailey's offense, and he's gotten his man in Graham - and given up a seventh-round pick to do so.
So Graham becomes the first NC State player off the board, and that...I did not see coming. Speed trumps. Graham could have an immediate impact on special teams, and given time, I think he could be a good secondary receiving option.
Good luck to you, T.J. Say hi to Mario for us.
