Pack Insider reported Sunday morning that Lorenzo Brown has been scheduled for knee surgery, and while PI has taken that post down, the school has confirmed that Brown is set for an "exploratory" operation on Tuesday.
Senior guard Lorenzo Brown will undergo exploratory knee surgery on Tuesday, the school announced on Sunday. His status for the team's preseason trip to Spain in August, and the start of the 2012-13 season in November, will be re-evaluated after the surgery.
Some additional tidbits:
Been told by one source, 'not that big of a deal,' been told by another, 'we won't know what's wrong until Tuesday'

Sounds like Brown himself isn't sweating it too much, but since nobody knows the nature of the injury, I wouldn't take too much comfort in that Purvis tweet just yet.
I recommend crossing all fingers and offering tribute to Jobu from now until Tuesday.
