Mercer is a 3-star prospect out of Guyton, Georgia, according to Yahoo!Sports. More impressively, however, is his offer sheet; along with the Wolfpack, Mercer was offered by Florida, Georgia Tech, Tennessee, and Wake Forest, and received interest from Auburn, Georgia, Missouri, and South Carolina. Des Kitchings continues to recruit well for the Pack down south.
