Means is listed at 6-2, 190 by Rivals, Scout, and 247Sports, and if that's accurate he'll give the Wolfpack some good size in the secondary. If that is in fact where he ends up in college, that is. Means is an unranked prospect by both Rivals and Scout, though 247 considers him a three-star recruit. It appears that NC State and UNC are his only major-conference scholarship offers at this point.
The Tar Heels met with Means earlier in the week in an effort to keep themselves in the mix, but it was to no avail. Like Dravious Wright and Sean Paul, Means was on campus last weekend, and that was apparently enough to seal the deal.
Here's some analysis of Means from a Rivals analyst. Calls him a project but says he can be a valuable player down the road.
