Former NC State great Ted Brown selected to College Football Hall of Fame

Brown joins 11 other players and two coaches in the most recent class to be inducted.

Ted Brown, by far the best running back to ever put on the red and white, was inducted to the College Football Hall of Fame today, where he joins the likes of Teddy Bruschi and Vinny Testaverde among college football's elite. Playing from 1975-1978, the NC native posted an ACC record 4,602 rushing mark with 51 touchdowns, records which he still holds all-time. Brown was also a consensus all-American all four years he played at State, and his number 23 jersey was retired shortly after the end of his career. His pro career was equally successful - a first round pick to the Minnesota Vikings, Brown played for eight seasons, racking up 53 total touchdowns and 4,546 rushing yards, best for third in franchise history.

Tony? Shad? You guys taking notes back there?
