Well, I think it goes without saying that we can all agree that it's a damn good thing that this was State's bye week, because LAWD HAVE MERCY the #goacc was strong this past weekend. Gracious. A team lost a game on a 12 men on the field penalty (glares at UVA), and a team had FIVE fumbles in the first quarter (were you drunk, Pitt?), among other absurd moments. It was tough to pick ten of the best ones from this weekend, but we here at BTP have a tremendous lineup of #goacc nominees for y'all to vote on today. Last week we saw The Circle of the Coastal Cluster run away with a dominating performance, and I think we may potentially see a similar performance from one of this week's entries. Y'all will also love our Jim Ross Moment of the Week as well. Anyways, enough from me - it's time to vote. Which is your #goacc Moment of the Week? Vote below!
1. Boston College washed their white hockey jerseys with their maroon pants...you can imagine what the outcome of that was (h/t @MarkEnnis and @BurntBoats).

I've been trying to figure out how in the hell this happened. Hopefully they get those new uniforms in quickly, because they do have a big game against Boston University coming up soon.
2. Here's Jamie Dixon and an assistant channeling Back to the Future (h/t @PittAthletics).
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>Priceless moment - Coach Dixon as Doc and Coach McConnell-Serio as Marty McFly. <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/TimeMachine?src=hash">#TimeMachine</a> <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/H2P?src=hash">#H2P</a> <a href="http://t.co/faOrhcCTrM">pic.twitter.com/faOrhcCTrM</a></p>— Pitt Athletics (@PittAthletics) <a href="https://twitter.com/PittAthletics/status/526738100631142400">October 27, 2014</a></blockquote>

Man, between this and Tom Izzo dressing up as a member of KISS, college basketball Midnight Madness events have gotten really damn weird.
3. Buzz Williams just wants us all to love one another (h/t @TeamCoachBuzz).
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>Love doesn't catch... Love covers... ❤️</p>— Buzz Williams (@TeamCoachBuzz) <a href="https://twitter.com/TeamCoachBuzz/status/526704260294406146">October 27, 2014</a></blockquote>
<script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
As @TeaBagPaulus919 mentioned to me last week, Buzz is full of #goacc tweets.
4. Sammy Watkins has a surefire touchdown catch, celebrates too early, gets tackled (h/t @Steve_OS).
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p><a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/goacc?src=hash">#goacc</a> <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/goacc?src=hash">#goacc</a> <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/goacc?src=hash">#goacc</a> RT <a href="https://twitter.com/Steve_OS">@Steve_OS</a>: What are you doing Sammy Watkins <a href="https://t.co/swmG0vPUNV">https://t.co/swmG0vPUNV</a></p>— Will Thompson (@thrillis4) <a href="https://twitter.com/thrillis4/status/526433544193978369">October 26, 2014</a></blockquote>

That sound you heard is fantasy football players simultaneously throwing their remotes through their TV.
5. Pitt had the worst statistical start to a game ever (h/t @KevinonCFB).
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>Is this bad? <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/Pitt?src=hash">#Pitt</a> <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/goacc?src=hash">#goacc</a> <a href="http://t.co/ByxthdEfcx">pic.twitter.com/ByxthdEfcx</a></p>— Kevin McGuire (@KevinOnCFB) <a href="https://twitter.com/KevinOnCFB/status/526107215288340480">October 25, 2014</a></blockquote>
<script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
Seriously, if this had been in a video game, I'd have rage quit after the third fumble. How does something like this even happen? Did all of Pitt's players chug a six pack of Iron City before the game?
6. Riley Skinner almost got NSFW with the telestrator.
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p><a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/goacc?src=hash">#goacc</a> adventures with the telestrator <a href="https://t.co/mlIQmFB6WL">https://t.co/mlIQmFB6WL</a></p>— Will Thompson (@thrillis4) <a href="https://twitter.com/thrillis4/status/526082629695975424">October 25, 2014</a></blockquote>
<script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
It honestly amazes me how often this kind of thing happens.
7. Ron Cherry is back y'all! (h/t @cjzero).
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>Referee adds some style to a simple first down call (req <a href="https://twitter.com/Adam_Jacobi">@adam_jacobi</a>) <a href="https://t.co/Q5wGYiIyzQ">https://t.co/Q5wGYiIyzQ</a></p>— CJ Fogler (@cjzero) <a href="https://twitter.com/cjzero/status/525467683576238080">October 24, 2014</a></blockquote>

It's no "Giving him the business," but it's hilarious nonetheless. The clap is what seals it for me.
8. Here's a knockoff brand Mike Glennon Lego, because wut?
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>This is apparently a thing <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/goacc?src=hash">#goacc</a> <a href="http://t.co/3dbDJPNNvf">pic.twitter.com/3dbDJPNNvf</a></p>— Will Thompson (@thrillis4) <a href="https://twitter.com/thrillis4/status/525268965153849346">October 23, 2014</a></blockquote>

I'd make a joke here, but @DavidMAldridge hit one out of the park:

Brilliant, sir.
9. SNL's Colin Jost pokes fun at the UNC Academic Scandal (h/t @SBNation).

1. Well done on the timing of that picture, which is hilarious.
2. Head to the 2:00 minute mark to see the clip. Outstanding.
10. This Notre Dame fan is convinced he's found "proof" that the refs got the call wrong against FSU (h/t @DerekMedlin).

<script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
Who has the time do to this? Honestly, it's not going to change anything. Go read a book or something, or buy an Xbox and take some of that aggression out elsewhere. Good grief.
And now, for your moment of zen,
THE JIM ROSS BAH GAWD MOMENT OF THE WEEK!
Stepping outside the realm of the ACC for this one, because it's quite possibly one of the hardest hits I've seen in a football game in a long time. At least the Panthers had this positive play from that putrid performance yesterday:
<iframe class="vine-embed" src="https://vine.co/v/OhlBKzbB7ih/embed/simple" width="600" height="600" frameborder="0"></iframe><script async src="//platform.vine.co/static/scripts/embed.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
I'm amazed how quickly Turbin got up from that hit. Goodness.
See y'all next week!
