Wake Forest vs. NC State game thread / Saturday open thread

We may have had some basketball-related fun last night, but not it's time to get serious, people!

NC State needs to seize this opportunity against the worst team in the league and get the whole bowl eligibility thing out of the way before the Thanksgiving weekend trip to Chapel Hill. I tend to think it would be better for the sanity of everyone involved if State were to remove the pressure this week rather than putting itself in a do-or-stay-home situation.

I'm optimistic since I'm sure the coaches have reminded everybody this week that a bowl trip means free stuff, like, say, a shopping spree at Belk in advance of a certain NC-based bowl. Think of the free pants, men. Think of the free pants.
