The weekly in-depth look at the best (worst?) moments in ACC schadenfreude.

"Just wait 'til I get my dancin' shoes on y'all."
Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

Hell of a last week here on BTP, where we saw BeeJay Anya's heartfelt hug on Karl Hess completely obliterate the competition. I thought some other entries might put up more of a fight, but apparently nobody was going to overcome that hilarious hug. At any rate, we've got another hysterical entries for y'all to vote on this week, and I think maybe this time the vote will be close (I said this about last week, so I'll probably be wrong again). We've also got a great Jim Ross Moment of the Week that returns to its roots after a rather melancholy one last week (damn you Undertaker Hess!). What are you waiting for? It's time to vote - which is your #goacc Moment of the Week? Vote below!

1. Luol Deng blatantly travels in front of ref, of course nothing is called (h/t @MySportsLegion).

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>Luol Deng took 358 steps, with the official right in front of him...no travel called. <a href="https://t.co/KkSglUGric">https://t.co/KkSglUGric</a></p>&mdash; NBA Legion (@MySportsLegion) <a href="https://twitter.com/MySportsLegion/status/545064749118259200">December 17, 2014</a></blockquote>

Maybe not quite as egregious as that clip of Corey Brewer traveling from midcourt a couple of a weeks ago, but holy hell he's three feet in front of the ref. How was traveling not called? Ridiculous.

2. Philip Rivers with some peak Dad dancing on the sidelines (h/t @JamesCurle).

<iframe class="vine-embed" src="https://vine.co/v/OXepxxLxqu5/embed/simple" width="480" height="480" frameborder="0"></iframe><script async src="//platform.vine.co/static/scripts/embed.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

This is just tremendous. Love it when the Chargers win, because you're almost guaranteed a camera shot of Rivers acting ridiculous on the sidelines (if you don't know about the @KingLaserFace account on twitter, do yourself a favor and follow it right now). Naturally, I felt like some music needed to be added to this dance routine:

3. Swing and a miss there, Demon Deacons Twitter (h/t @awbatchelor).

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>Apparently, the WFU&#39;s women&#39;s bball team is actually the High Point women&#39;s bball team. <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/goacc?src=hash">#goacc</a> <a href="http://t.co/q6yVKm6dSk">pic.twitter.com/q6yVKm6dSk</a></p>&mdash; Andrew Batchelor (@awbatchelor) <a href="https://twitter.com/awbatchelor/status/545580306464800769">December 18, 2014</a></blockquote>

<script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

Good job good effort proofreading that one guys.

4. Jimmy Fallon points this out about Steven Hauschka and now I can't unsee it (h/t @clarksa).

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>(2/3) <a href="http://t.co/HFUZ4k4jEP">pic.twitter.com/HFUZ4k4jEP</a></p>&mdash; Scott Clark (@Clarksa) <a href="https://twitter.com/Clarksa/status/546303809102704640">December 20, 2014</a></blockquote>

<script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

Fallon is brilliant. That is just so perfect.

5. This story about former Clemson player K.J. McDaniels' mom at his NBA basketball game is mindblowingly amazing (h/t @Deadspin).

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>K.J. McDaniels&#39;s mom is the best sports mom: <a href="http://t.co/np9VZNo7Bh">http://t.co/np9VZNo7Bh</a></p>&mdash; Deadspin (@Deadspin) <a href="https://twitter.com/Deadspin/status/547077473201299456">December 22, 2014</a></blockquote>

<script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

Seriously, click the link in that story and make sure you read the whole thing. Go ahead, I'll wait. She was audibly booing players on her own son's team because they had the ball and he didn't! You can't make this stuff up. Just incredible.

6. Jay Williams enjoyed this crossover a weeeeeee bit too much (h/t @JamesCurle).

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>Jay Williams needs a towel. <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/crossover?src=hash">#crossover</a> <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/splooge?src=hash">#splooge</a> <a href="https://t.co/ranp7R3fWW">https://t.co/ranp7R3fWW</a></p>&mdash; James Curle (@JamesCurle) <a href="https://twitter.com/JamesCurle/status/545763621691998208">December 19, 2014</a></blockquote>

<script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

NSFW Jay, come on man. Calm down.

7. This NC State fan hung Christmas ornaments on his beard (h/t @DerekMedlin and @ReevesiXi).

First, just check out this vine, in all its glory:

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>WANT. <a href="https://t.co/3igTNCZta2">https://t.co/3igTNCZta2</a></p>&mdash; Derek Medlin (@DerekMedlin) <a href="https://twitter.com/DerekMedlin/status/545394051605078018">December 18, 2014</a></blockquote>

<script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

How did he manage to keep those ornaments on his beard? Glad you asked!

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-conversation="none" lang="en"><p><a href="https://twitter.com/thrillis4">@thrillis4</a> <a href="https://twitter.com/DerekMedlin">@DerekMedlin</a> here’s a close-up <a href="http://t.co/M7uVjPDZJu">pic.twitter.com/M7uVjPDZJu</a></p>&mdash; Reeves Thompson (@ReevesiXi) <a href="https://twitter.com/ReevesiXi/status/545396770961100800">December 18, 2014</a></blockquote>

<script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

Oh, just a ton of gator clips. If you'll excuse me, I'm going to go throw up from the thought of a dozen gator clips pinching hairs on my face.

8. Seriously, how does this ref not know someone's going to catch him watching football? (h/t @the_Jameson and @SBNation).

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p><a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/goacc?src=hash">#goacc</a> RT <a href="https://twitter.com/SBNation">@SBNation</a>: alternate ref at WVU-NCSU got caught watching some football by <a href="https://twitter.com/melmoraes">@melmoraes</a> <a href="http://t.co/whSdNK4axg">http://t.co/whSdNK4axg</a> <a href="http://t.co/bxC6ispYnI">pic.twitter.com/bxC6ispYnI</a></p>&mdash; Jameson (@the_Jameson) <a href="https://twitter.com/the_Jameson/status/546556570688315392">December 21, 2014</a></blockquote>

<script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

Look ref, I get it if you don't want to pay attention to the game since you're not on the court. But if you want to watch the NFL, don't do it on the freaking monitor at midcourt where everyone can take a picture of you doing it. Good grief. This is what smartphones are for man.

9. Tommy Amaker's Harvard team had a rough night against UVA (h/t @WillsWorldMN).

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p><a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/goacc?src=hash">#goacc</a> RT <a href="https://twitter.com/WillsWorldMN">@WillsWorldMN</a>: Harvard-Virginia in a nutshell. <a href="https://t.co/NqxsirGp8F">https://t.co/NqxsirGp8F</a></p>&mdash; Will Thompson (@thrillis4) <a href="https://twitter.com/thrillis4/status/546856101715922944">December 22, 2014</a></blockquote>

<script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

See, you probably thought this didn't qualify as #goacc at first...forgot about Amaker didn't you? But on another note, [Seinfeld voice] what's the deal with all of these crazy first half blowouts happening these days?

10. Might be time to renovate the college basketball studio, ESPN (h/t to @tarheelblog and our own @akulawolf).

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>Did they borrow that part from The Price Is Right? RT <a href="https://twitter.com/tarheelblog">@tarheelblog</a>: The ESPN set is falling apart <a href="https://t.co/BCpXxAalIc">https://t.co/BCpXxAalIc</a></p>&mdash; Steven (@akulawolf) <a href="https://twitter.com/akulawolf/status/545761851536330752">December 19, 2014</a></blockquote>

<script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

Akula brings up a great point, that did look remarkably like when a price is revealed on the Price is Right. Jay Williams' reaction is amazing.

And now, for your moment of zen,

THE JIM ROSS BAH GAWD MOMENT OF THE WEEK!!

Stepping outside of the ACC again, Jim gets back to his roots calling this monstrous hit from the Carolina Panthers' win over the Cleveland Browns. Take it away JR!

<iframe class="vine-embed" src="https://vine.co/v/OXr0b3gzhOY/embed/simple" width="480" height="480" frameborder="0"></iframe><script async src="//platform.vine.co/static/scripts/embed.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

See y'all next week and have a great Christmas holiday!
