The #goacc Moment of the Week (2/2/2014)

I'll be honest, I really wanted to get this up yesterday to try and cheer everyone up after yet another horrible performance in that damned house of horrors, but I just couldn't find the motivation. My apologies for the delay. Moving on, it'll be hard to top last week's phenomenal battle between the Duke sorority recruitment video and Bobby Big Wheel's analysis of UVA's football schedule (that ended in a tie, no less!), but we must endure. I ended up being wrong on who I thought would win last week, but it should be fairly obvious who's going to win this week. It's going to be hard to top what might be the #goacc Moment of the Year to date. Let's see if I'll end up being right this time - which is your #goacc Moment of the Week? Vote below!

1. Roy is frustrated dot vine.

I'll give it to Ol' Roy, even up big late in the game he still takes this game seriously. He's trying so hard not to lose his mind right there....while up double digits. If you'll excuse me, I'm going to go chug liquor and cry.

2. Noted Syracuse enthusiast Joe Biden has a message for Duke (h/t @steaknstiffarms).

3. The ESPN production truck had some issues down in Atlanta (h/t @awbatchelor).

4. Some old UNC fan got his car stuck on stairs near Tucker Beach (h/t @akulawolf).

Even better? The quote from the driver after the incident:

“A 68 year-old man drove his Mercedes Benz down the stairs between the Carroll and Owen residence halls, Thursday. The driver, who was not injured, was on his way to Arby’s on Hillsborough Street but says that his wife gave him bad directions from Western Boulevard. He drove from the Bragaw parking lit and said “I didn’t have a foot on the accelerator. I had it on the brake and was going the pace of the students. I didn’t want to hit one of them so I was going with the flow.”"

I'd love to see what those directions were.

5. Jamie Dixon won't look Coach K in the eyes during the post game handshake.

6. Carter Blackburn had a few shots before calling the Clemson-UNC game, gets confused.

7. The @espn Twitter account is weird as hell (h/t @CharlieCurtis2).

This isn't the first time that terrible account has posted a really bizarre cartoony graphic, but this one is easily the worst ever. However, this is the first time @espn deleted one of their awful picture tweets, but thanks to the Internet, nothing ever disappears. Who in the hell is running that company's social media department?
