In case you missed it earlier today, WRALSportsFan and 99.9 the Fan put on a rather unprecedented gathering of four athletic directors from the big local area schools: Debbie Yow from N.C. State, Bubba Cunningham from UNC, Kevin White from Duke and Ingrid Wicker-McCree from N.C. Central. The goal was to discuss the ever changing landscape of college athletics and their views on that landscape, as well as student athletes themselves, among other things. It should come as no surprise that there were some tremendous and numerous #goacc moments from this gathering. In fact, there were so many that I felt the need to dedicate an entire week's post to the #FanTownHall event. Last week, we saw the summer of P.J. account for 222 votes alone - who will we see win this week? Let's find out - which is your #goacc Moment of the Week? Vote below!
1. Behind the athletic directors was a projection screen of tweets of individuals discussing the #FanTownHall event. Someone wasn't exactly filtering it (h/t @NCSU_99_17_24, @joeovies and @SportsChrisH).
Yes. I'm laughing. pic.twitter.com/8BTupOXuUX

In case you have trouble seeing that picture, it's showing @SportsChrisH's incredible question for the panel:
More powerful investigative force: NCAA or Pack Pride? #FanTownHall
— Chris Hathcock (@SportsChrisH) July 17, 2014
Fantastic. But not to be outdone, someone monitoring the filter on that display of tweets let this one slip through:

That might be one of the best uses of that meme ever. Brilliant work, @NCSU_99_17_24.
2. Of course, Mary Willingham showed up (h/t @DerekMedlin, @the_Jameson and @lebrownlow).
Mary Willingham is in the house. #FanTownHall
— Derek Medlin (@DerekMedlin) July 17, 2014
Ya know, this really isn't all surprising given the media blitz Willingham has been on lately. I kind of figured she would stroll in to the gathering like Kane here:
Sadly, this was not the case. Jay Smith surprisingly didn't show up to smash someone with a steel chair, either. Willingham did not ask any questions, nor did she apparently speak to anyone, and left in a hurry when the event ended, which was summed up beautifully from @the_Jameson:
http://t.co/2SQcmFBcxx RT @lebrownlow Mary Willingham was out the back door in a hurry

3. @Bullard_ had an important question that needed an immediate response from the panel (h/t @Bullard_).
#FanTownHall cloos’ or chargrill?
— Bullard (@Bullard_) July 17, 2014
If it were up to me, it'd definitely be Char-Grill. When their fries first come out of the fryer....maaaaannnnnnnnnn they are hard to beat. Would've loved to have heard what Yow had to say about that.
4. Kevin White used a hilarious comparison to describe the NCAA (h/t @JamesCurle).
Kevin White just compared the NCAA to the Cantina scene in Star Wars. Yep. #FanTownHall
— James Curle (@JamesCurle) July 17, 2014
lolwut?
5. Mark Armstrong brings up a great point (h/t @ArmstrongABC11).
This is the perfect forum for a modified 'kiss, marry, punch' question for all 4 ADs. Don't let me down Gravs.
— Mark Armstrong (@ArmstrongABC11) July 17, 2014
This really would've been fantastic to see.
6. Look at the shade Bubba Cunningham is throwing here (h/t @LuanneLane).
#FanTownHall still happening! pic.twitter.com/dj2Bgj3Prt
— Luanne Lane (@LuanneLane) July 17, 2014
"Soon....Dr. Yow. Very soon I will connect you to the PackPride, MUAHAHAHAHA."
7. Was Debbie Yow actually paying attention during the discussion? (h/t @DerekMedlin).
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-partner="tweetdeck"><p>Debbie Yow has taken notes constantly during <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/FanTownHall?src=hash">#FanTownHall</a>. Or maybe she’s doodling? <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/goacc?src=hash">#goacc</a></p>— Derek Medlin (@DerekMedlin) <a href="https://twitter.com/DerekMedlin/statuses/489812035740639232">July 17, 2014</a></blockquote>

I think this could be the inspiration that gets #MSPaintMondays started here on BTP. Who wants to take a shot at what Yow was doodling in the comments?
8. The Moose asks the panel a question we all want to have answered (h/t @WXMoose).
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-partner="tweetdeck"><p>Do you agree or disagree with Heather Dinich's latest Power Rankings? <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/FanTownHall?src=hash">#FanTownHall</a></p>— Weather Moose (@WXMoose) <a href="https://twitter.com/WXMoose/statuses/489796102456344576">July 17, 2014</a></blockquote>
<script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
I know I've never agreed with Heather Dinich's horrible analysis. She wasn't much better picking in the World Cup, either:
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-partner="tweetdeck"><p><a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/goacc?src=hash">#goacc</a> "<a href="https://twitter.com/TheBenSwain">@TheBenSwain</a>: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA RT <a href="https://twitter.com/FSUSportsMemes">@FSUSportsMemes</a>: <a href="http://t.co/1RfnigDYCQ">pic.twitter.com/1RfnigDYCQ</a>"</p>— American badass (@DCHokiefan) <a href="https://twitter.com/DCHokiefan/statuses/486626214795177984">July 8, 2014</a></blockquote>

There are many, many others from the #FanTownHall even that were equally hilarious, so make sure to check them out!
