Gee: The Class of 2016 is Off to a Fast Start

Wolfpack legacy Harrison Gee gets the class of 2016 off to a surprisingly fast start with his commitment at the recruiting cookout Friday night. The offensive lineman is on pace to be one of the best prospects in the state of North Carolina in his cycle.

While it was somewhat anticipated that the Wolfpack would pick up a commitment or two this weekend, not many saw Harrison Gee coming. The offensive lineman from Walter Williams High School in Burlington, NC is the son of Mike Gee, who was a lineman at NC State in the early 1990s. Gee is the first member of #Pack16 to set the Red Light off.

Not much is known about 2016 prospects, but several recruiting experts believe that he is possibly the top offensive lineman in the state. His 6'3" 260 lbs frame currently projects to guard, but he may be versatile enough to fill in at any spot on the line. Gee's other major offer is West Virginia and he has fielded strong interest from Clemson. The hope is that the legacy recruit can start a strong class early and make up for some of the misses at the position so far in 2015.
