The #goacc Moment of the Week (12/4/2015)

The weekly in-depth look at the best (worst?) moments in ACC schadenfreude.

"Am I dabbing correctly guys?"
"Am I dabbing correctly guys?"
Kevin Jairaj-USA TODAY Sports

It took a little while for a winner to emerge last week, but that VT player trying to give Ron Cherry the business ended up pulling away at the end there. Last week featured a really strong slate of entries, and this week is no different, y'all. This is really the third straight week where I have literally no idea which one of these is going to win. We've also got a wonderful BAH GAWD this week, a very worthy #suregrin award winner, and a particularly hilarious photoshop. And with that, it's time to vote. Which is your #goacc Moment of the Week? Vote below!

1. Duke fan tired of seeing Jahlil Okafor get punished (h/t @joeovies).

In case you've missed this news, the former Duke player has had a few rough days, apparently wanting to turn into South Park's rendition of Russell Crowe fightin' round the world. This Duke fan just wants to see Jahlil play, Sixers! Don't hurt his feelings!

2. James Michael McAdoo returned to UNC this week with a new fashion statement.

Look, I don't know why we all don't start doing this. Ever have that moment when your phone is about to die, and you think to yourself, "Man, I sure wish I had my charger with me!" Well, Jimmy Mike Mac here is just ahead of the curve, y'all. Practical...and fashionable!

3. Cat Barber wore some interesting pants after the loss to Michigan (h/t @lebrownlow).

I....uh......I don't understand these pants at all.

4. Dabo really just wants to have a pizza party (h/t @ClemsonFB).

That's the real motivation behind Clemson's season - Dabo's undying love for terrible Papa John's pizza.

5. Inside Carolina's message boards remain a bizarre place (h/t @JTobben).

There's so much going on here. This is one of three posts this individual has made, I wonder if the other two are equally odd requests. What larger ram is this guy talking about? Doe he want like a mountain ram or something? A Dodge Ram perhaps?

6. Frank Beamer dabbing (h/t @SBNation).

Who am I kidding? This is absolutely going to win this week. There's a reason that Frank is the GOAT of #goacc. Sure am going to miss his shenanigans next year. Hopefully he decides to start commentating some games.

7. Jim Boeheim just can't stop, won't stop digging for gold (h/t @axesmashhammer).

Great find here, Mr. Axesmashhammer. There is no greater tradition in all of sports than Jim Boeheim picking his nose on live television.

8. Florida State had some good advice for the Cleveland Browns after that awful way the Browns lost (h/t @FSU_Football).

The best advice anyone can give in that situation. Just power the phone down and walk away.

the #suregrin award.

This week's #suregrin award goes out to clownshow reporter Jeff Goodmon, who has apparently been appointed by ESPN to be the chief narrative correspondent about Ben Simmons. First, let me clarify something for you, ESPN: WE ALL KNOW BEN SIMMONS IS REALLY GOOD. YOU DON'T NEED TO TALK ABOUT HIM EVERY SINGLE NIGHT, PARTICULARLY IN GAMES HE'S NOT EVEN PLAYING IN! With that out of the way, look at this:

Yeah, that's what we're doing, Jeff. We're all taking shots at the kid. *facepalm*

Thankfully, @TheBenSwain called him out for that ridiculous statement:

The best photoshops of the week!

Only one worthy winner this week, and that again goes out to Mr. Mark Armstrong, with another strong use of the Crying MJ Meme:

Just spectacular.

And now, for your moment of 'wrasslin...

THE JIM ROSS BAH GAWD MOMENT OF THE WEEK!!

Our favorite segment returns this week in a most thunderous of ways, with this absolute sledgehammer of a dunk from Orlando Johnson on John Stockton's son. Take it away, JR!

(h/t @World_Wide_Wob).

Quick programming note - Akula will be covering for me next week! I'll be back with more #goacc in a couple of weeks. Enjoy your weekend everyone!
