By the absolute slimmest of margins, the PJ Hairston Regional went complete chalk. There was one entry that one by a single, solitary vote that allowed the straight chalk performance to happen. That being said, there are some unbelievable matchups here in this regional, so let's get down to voting. Without further ado....
THE PJ HAIRSTON REGIONAL ROUND OF 32
#1. BeeJay Anya hugs Karl Hess
#8. Brice Johnson gets weird with Rob Moxley
Perhaps the kind gesture that BeeJay showed to Karl Hess several months ago provided the good karma that allowed him to hit that game winning shot against LSU the other night. At any rate, I still can't help but laugh at the King's face here every time I look at this picture. Brice getting handsy with Rob Moxley's face is hysterical, but come on. This is like Kentucky going up against Cincinnati.
#4. Buzz Williams hammertime!
#5. SNL's Colin Jost pokes fun at UNC's academic scandal
I'm not going to lie, I'm going to be slightly upset if the hammertime dance doesn't advance here. Just look at the dedication to his craft by Buzz Williams! He's obviously a huge fan of MC Hammer. But, it's a lot to overcome the continuing joke that is the UNC academic scandal. I think this one will be close, and ultimately the five seed will prevail.
#3. WFU's backup QB's no good, very bad day
#6. Frank Beamer Dance Party!
By one, single, solitary vote, Frank Beamer's Dance Party advanced to the Round of 32. This was obviously the closest of all the first round matchups, and it took a BeeJay Anya esque prayer for the #6 seed to hang on and defeat that obnoxious UNC fan. However, Frank's got his work cut out for him today against this #3 seed. I think this will be where one of Frank's entries in the Tournament of Champions goes down, but perhaps that last second victory will be enough to spur some momentum.
#2. PJ Hairston got in a fight with a kid at the YMCA during a pickup basketball game
#7. "Knowlige is power."

Whew. Another strong matchup to close out the PJ Hairston Regional Round of 32. This upstart #7 seed absolutely obliterated it's competition in the opening round, and don't be surprised if it gives this #2 seed a scare here in the Round of 32. Still think the #2 seed advances, but this one should be very, very close.
