The #goacc Moment of the Week (8/12/2015)

Well despite a valiant effort from Miami's nightclub scholarship letter, nobody was defeating that bizarre situation with Malik Simmons last week. Think we'll be seeing both of those come tournament time. But anyways, on to the task at hand, and boy, was this past week chock full of #goacc, y'all. I have a strong feeling as to what will probably win, but there are some absolutely worthy entries this week, particularly from our friends in Blacksburg. As always, good ol' JR is back, and this time he brought a few friends! Anyways, it's time to vote. Which is your #goacc Moment of the Week? Vote below!

Honestly, I'm not sure which is worse. The fact that the first one has a reference to the mascot of a rival school in the ACC because of a misspelling, or the fact that the jersey has Hokies written upside down and backwards. Whomever VT has contracted with to do some of their merchandise clearly doesn't give two craps about proofreading or accurately screenprinting. Good grief.

2. P.J. Hairston's mom started a GoFundMe Page to talk about Hairston's time at UNC (h/t @_andrewcarter).

There's so, SO much to digest here. I mean, of all the stupid as hell stuff that's come out of the UNC mess, this has to rank up towards the top. How exactly did P.J.'s mom think this would go? And doesn't P.J. make pretty good money in the NBA, even as a lower tier player? If she's so desperate to get a message out, you'd think P.J. would front the bill.
