So, let's be honest - it was always going to be tough to continue the momentum from two weeks ago. We saw a bit of a drop off last week, but after the glory that was #Page145, how could anything follow that? That's like when George Lazenby followed Sean Connery as James Bond. Lazenby was so bad they had to bring Connery back! But enough about Bond, let's talk about this week's crop of #goacc entries, and, to be frank, I think y'all will enjoy these more than last week (at least I hope so!). Good ol' Jim Ross is back as well to provide some commentary on some pretty awesome dunks. And with that, it's time to vote. Which is your #goacc Moment of the week? Vote below!
1. Miami's scholarship offer letter looks like a nightclub flyer (h/t @JasonKirkSBN).
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">The same document, Miami version and Georgia Tech version <a href="http://t.co/APWBcC3mlA">http://t.co/APWBcC3mlA</a> <a href="http://t.co/KwbYNF57Qn">pic.twitter.com/KwbYNF57Qn</a></p>— Earl (@JasonKirkSBN) <a href="https://twitter.com/JasonKirkSBN/status/628176201345949696">August 3, 2015</a></blockquote>
<script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
This might be the most Miami thing ever. It's made even better by the juxtaposition with Georgia Tech's offer of scholarship, which looks like the most formal letter ever written.
2. Jimmy Graham's lack of sports knowledge will make you feel really old (h/t @gbellseattle).
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Jimmy Graham says he, fellow TE Luke Willson calling themselves the "Bash Brothers." Graham had no idea who Jose Canseco/Mark McGwire were</p>— Gregg Bell (@gbellseattle) <a href="https://twitter.com/gbellseattle/status/628291702856400896">August 3, 2015</a></blockquote>
<script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
To be fair, though, when Gregg Bell told Jimmy that one of the Bash Bros was Jose Canseco, Jimmy likely replied, "You mean that insane guy on Twitter that shot his finger off?"
3. That's...not Ryan Switzer (h/t @spencer_josh).
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">When practice starts, always clear certain guys look different physically than before. Case in point--Ryan Switzer: <a href="http://t.co/gAlXCNdYjS">pic.twitter.com/gAlXCNdYjS</a></p>— JS (@spencer_josh) <a href="https://twitter.com/spencer_josh/status/628393872423526400">August 4, 2015</a></blockquote>

This is even worse than the time that Jacoby Brissett was mistaken for UNC basketball player Joel Berry.
4. 'Crootin Twitter is the worst Twitter (h/t to our own @akulawolf).
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">When you're holding on a little too tight. <a href="http://t.co/7hXYZWOLNn">pic.twitter.com/7hXYZWOLNn</a></p>— Steven (@akulawolf) <a href="https://twitter.com/akulawolf/status/626845412490653701">July 30, 2015</a></blockquote>
<script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
OMG, A HIGH SCHOOL KID WROTE SOMETHING CRYPTIC WHAT DOES IT MEEEEAAAAANNNN?!?!?! LET ME TWEET AN OFFICIAL ACCOUNT REPEATEDLY TO MAKE SURE THEY SAW IT. Whoops, in the time you were doing that, weirdo, Maverick committed to State.
5. Boston College basketball coach Jim Christian wants in on the Meek Mill vs Drake feud.
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Let it be known I got my diss track ready. Drake and Meek can both get it! <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/BoutThatLife?src=hash">#BoutThatLife</a> <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/Bars?src=hash">#Bars</a></p>— Jim Christian (@BCJimChristian) <a href="https://twitter.com/BCJimChristian/status/626532073470337024">July 29, 2015</a></blockquote>
<script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
This is an absolutely incredible tweet. Number one, it finally gives me a reason to remember who the hell is Boston College's basketball coach. Number two, it's utterly amazing the lengths college coaches go to stay "hip" with the recruits they're bringing in. Hell, we saw Coach K talk about this during the WRAL Fan Town Hall event a few weeks back...bet Coach K has stopped listening to Meek Mill after this past week.
6. Indefinitely suspended Malik Simmons practiced with UNC while he was supposed to be in court for his last arrest (h/t @stevewisemanNC).
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Suspended UNC cornerback Malik Simmons at Tar Heels practice today. <a href="https://twitter.com/bepryor">@bepryor</a> reports his name was called in court <a href="http://t.co/n1vMNpMneX">http://t.co/n1vMNpMneX</a> …</p>— Stephen Wiseman (@stevewisemanNC) <a href="https://twitter.com/stevewisemanNC/status/628230923771744256">August 3, 2015</a></blockquote>
<script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
This is about as bizarre a story as you'll see, so bear with me for a moment. Malik's been arrested twice this summer, and was indefinitely suspended. His court date was supposed to be yesterday. Well...nobody showed. Which, seems like the poorest of decisions. Then, Fedora announced at practice that Simmons had been reinstated...even though he hasn't actually had his court date yet (because it had been rescheduled to Thursday). I'm guessing that court date was rescheduled because a lawyer requested that, but even still, the "legal process hasn't played itself out yet," as coaches so often say...so why was he reinstated? Whatever the reason may be, the optics of the whole situation, combined with the dumpster fire over at UNC, certainly don't look good.
7. Paul Johnson, you just won $100,000 in prizes for a charity and scholarship fund! How do you feel? (h/t @CFAPeachBowl).
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Congrats to <a href="https://twitter.com/GTPaulJohnson">@GTPaulJohnson</a> & Jon Barry who bring home another win and $100,000 for scholarship & charity! <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/CFAPBGolf?src=hash">#CFAPBGolf</a> <a href="http://t.co/1ruwqL3wqd">pic.twitter.com/1ruwqL3wqd</a></p>— ChickfilA Peach Bowl (@CFAPeachBowl) <a href="https://twitter.com/CFAPeachBowl/status/627569102500933632">August 1, 2015</a></blockquote>

He looks...jubilant?
And now, for your moment of wrasslin'...
THE JIM ROSS BAH GAWD MOMENT(s) OF THE WEEK!!
The legendary voice of wrasslin' is back again this week, and decided to see what's been happening with NC State basketball this summer. First, JR went to go check out Bam Bam Adebayo, a 2016 recruit:
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-partner="tweetdeck"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Bam Bam Adebayo with a vicious dunk, as called by Jim Ross (orig. vine by <a href="https://twitter.com/WillBrinson">@WillBrinson</a>) <a href="https://t.co/oqLa5f5C6m">https://t.co/oqLa5f5C6m</a></p>— Will Thompson (@thrillis4) <a href="https://twitter.com/thrillis4/status/628770514060857344">August 5, 2015</a></blockquote>
<script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
Gracious, even I felt that dunk. Next, JR watched Abdul-Malik Abu play at the Adidas Nations event:
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-partner="tweetdeck"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Abdul Malik-Abu throws down an insane dunk, as called by good ol' JR (Video by <a href="https://twitter.com/mrqwik11">@mrqwik11</a>) <a href="https://t.co/tEtCt595ZR">https://t.co/tEtCt595ZR</a></p>— Will Thompson (@thrillis4) <a href="https://twitter.com/thrillis4/status/628771047727341569">August 5, 2015</a></blockquote>

See y'all next week!
