Remember when Oklahoma and Texas were both good? Been a while. Anyway, they have their annual get together early on Saturday, and win or lose, Texas gets to join the ACC in approximately 2023.
The noon slot is pretty weak, which means there should be plenty of eyes on the Notre Dame/NC State game, for better or worse. (Please be for better please be for better please be for better.) LSU/Florida was called off thanks to Hurricane Matthew, leaving OU-Texas and ND-NCSU as the best two nooners. Unless you’re a die hard Big Ten football fan, in which case, please seek help.
Later on, Tennessee can continue its luck parade at Texas A&M, but I have to think the Vols’ inconsistency catches up to them eventually. Then again, they are in the SEC East, so maybe not. And, fortunately, FSU/Miami was not a casualty to weather, because that game is looking like a lot of fun.
