The #goacc Moment of the Week (5/11/2016)

The weekly in-depth look at the best (worst?) moments in ACC schadenfreude.

Apologies for the off week last week, everyone - honestly, it's been rather quiet on the #goacc front since the tournament ended. However, we're back with a good crop of entries this week, one of which gained some hilarious national attention. Before our off week, we saw UVA's blatant plagiarism of VT's Spring Game infographic win in a rout. I tend to think we might see a similar vote distribution this week, but that's up to you! We've also got a hilarious #suregrin winner this week, as well as one of the funniest photoshops I've ever seen. As always, we'll close with some wisdom from the world of wrasslin'. And with that, it's time to vote. Which is your #goacc Moment of the Week? Vote below!

1. Guy Fieri is opening a restaurant in Louisville (h/t @BFLouisville).

If ever there was a restaurant mascot equivalent of #goacc, it would have to be Guy Fieri. I mean, just look at the guy's menu. What the hell is donkey sauce, anyway?

2. Apparently Justin Bieber is a big Wake Forest fan (h/t @BloggerSoDear).

As Ron Wellman would say, "Oh heavens yes!"

3. Here's Buzz Williams hanging out with a ...pirate?

Buzz is down at the conference meetings at Amelia Island, and apparently found a really big ECU fan.

4. Roy Williams rocking a phenomenal bathing suit (h/t @_andrewcarter).

The seahorses are by far the best part about this.

5. Old man goes to Beyonce concert at Carter-Finley, reads a book (h/t @stereogum).

This is just spectacular. Just look at this quote from the article:

What book could possibly be more interesting than a Beyoncé concert? A Greek-language copy of Jules Verne'sThe Danube Pilot, of course, which Papageorgiou's parents bought him in Cairo 53 years ago, when he was just 13 years old. He says he's read it at least seven or eight times. "I love it — probably not another book that's influenced my love for geography as much as this book," he explains. "It's about a trip from Georgia and the caucuses all the way to Beijing, China with a whole bunch of adventures in-between, so it's an exciting book."

Seriously can't stop laughing. That's incredible.

the #suregrin award.

Remember Ja Rule? Yeah? Did you know he has appeared on Fox Business since his days of making music? Well, Ja Rule apparently has some thoughts about how the Crying Jordan meme works, and, well take a look:

Ja Rule basically set himself up to get Crying Jordan'd. Pretty sure his theory on how Jordan got "paid" for usage of that meme was the same business model that the Underpants Gnones from South Park used.

The best photoshop of the week!

We've got a wonderful video photoshop on deck this week via @RobCanvas. Minor spoilers from Captain American: Civil War, but a fight between Black Panther and the Winter Soldier being dubbed over with the Rick James Chappelle's Show skit is the mashup we never knew we needed:

Standing ovation.

And now, for your moment of wrasslin'...

THE JIM ROSS BAH GAWD MOMENT OF THE WEEK!!

In case you fell asleep during Game Four of the Blazers-Warriors, you missed a hell of a performance by Steph Curry. Curry turned in a whopping 17 points during OT, and well, I felt like it had to get the Jim Ross treatment. Without further ado, take it away, JR!

Have a great week everyone!
