We don’t have NC State’s full non-conference basketball schedule yet, but we have a few snippets: State will be in the Paradise Jam, and the Pack will play Illinois in the B1G-ACC Challenge. And thanks to Rider’s schedule reveal on Wednesday, we now know that NC State will be hosting the Broncs on Dec. 28.

“I’m excited for our guys to have the opportunity to play a high level team like NC State,” [head coach Kevin Baggett] said.

Yeah, excitement! Can you feel it! The Broncs finished 2016 13-20 overall and No. 217 in the Pomeroy Ratings They lost a few contributors from their rotation to graduation, including their leading scorer.

So that’s five non-conference opponents revealed (I’m counting the Paradise Jam here, even though two of the three opponents are not set), leaving maybe seven or eight more opponents to be unveiled. Let’s hope NC State is gonna give us the whole schedule soon.
