Pack Baseball Releases 2018 Schedule

State announced their 2018 baseball schedule on Wednesday. Not a whole lot here wasn’t known as State was one of the last Power 5 programs to actually release their schedule, but it’s nice to have everything seemingly set in stone at this point.

Highlights:

• First home series is against Seton Hall 2/16 - 2/18.
• ACC play opens at home against BC 3/9 - 3/11.
• Road ACC play begins at Clemson 3/16 - 3/18.
• Neutral-site non-ACC game against UNC-CH at the DBAP on 4/17.
• 4 game stretch at home on 4/24 against ECU and 4/27 - 4/29 against UNC-CH.

The team should be a top 25 team this year provided no injuries crop up as the majority of the starting rotation and bullpen return. Big losses in the line-up at Catcher, 3B, and SS, but State should be a fun team to go watch on the road or at Doak for anyone looking to catch some good college baseball this year.
