The #goacc moment of the week (10/3/2018)

So we didn’t quite get to one thousand votes last week, but that’s ok - close to 650 of you voted in what was surely the toughest #goacc moment of the week poll we’ve ever done here at BTP. Things definitely quieted down on the #goacc front since we last met, and that’s to be expected. How the hell were we going to top last week? We’re going to continue onward however, because #goacc never stops. Got a good batch of entries for y’all to vote on this week so let’s get to it! Which of these wins #goacc moment of the week? 1. Noted Duke basketball player is sorry for saying the earth is flat (via @SBNation)

Oh, ok. I’m still not convinced this wasn’t some elaborate troll job that got out of control for Kyrie. But at least he’s not spreading this nonsense anymore.

2. The broadcast for the UVA-NC State game had some interesting keys to the game (via @ncsu_99_17_24)

...What? Think before you “drink?” What in the world did they mean that for UVA? I need some context behind this - if anyone has video of the game, let me know!

3. Matt Ryan has reached Super Saiyan dad mode (via @atlantafalcons)

Just look at this. Ryan is at the apex of dad mode here. Confident, poised, dressed in black and grey carrying a backpack and a Whole Foods shopping bag. He’s on his way to hit that hot food buffet bar at Whole Foods and nobody is stopping him. Did he fall out of a Bonobos catalog on his way to the game?

4. Larry Fedora and Mark Richt had a weird encounter after Miami destroyed UNC (via @betterduck)

Maybe it’s just me but I haven’t seen any follow up to what happened here. Anyone know what these two said to each other? Richt’s face as he walks away is priceless.

5. Phil Steele is still out here with bad takes on the ACC (via @JamesCurle)

This is laughable analysis from Steele. Absolutely laughable that he would have Louisville, FSU and Wake Forest all ranked higher than UVA, especially because UVA boatraced the Cardinals already this season. Is he even watching these games? I’m guessing he also wrote that UNC was still a sleeping giant despite the fact they lost by 37 points to Miami.
