Former NC State shortstop Trea Turner has a shot at making the National League All-Star team but will need some help from fans to do it. Turner is one of the five finalists for the final spot on the NL team, and whichever guy earns the most votes gets the spot.
You can vote for Turner and an American League counterpart right here, though be aware of the spammy newsletter checkboxes at the bottom. I’m guessing that you do not in fact wish to receive emails from Camping World.
Turner’s competition for the NL spot includes Matt Carpenter, Brandon Belt, Max Muncy, and Jesus Aguilar. Is Turner more deserving than the rest of those guys? I don’t know, I didn’t bother looking at anyone’s numbers. This is no time for awarding proper credit, it’s time only to vote for the guy we like best.
You can vote as many times as you’d like between now and Wednesday, so let’s get to ballot box stuffin’, people.
