Our apologies for all the dang spam in the FanPosts section

You may have noticed over the last week or so that there has been a near-constant barrage of spam in the FanPosts section—this is an SBN-wide problem, and they’re working on it as best they can. And I’m deleting/banning the spam accounts whenever I see ‘em.

I’m reluctant to do it, but apparently it’s necessary to require a 24-hour waiting period for any new accounts on the site. That’s annoying, no doubt, but this will help me catch the spam bots before they’re able to post anything. Apologies for the inconvenience there.
