The #goacc moment of the week (8/29/2018)

Our decidedly uniform heavy edition last week featured some real doozies, but you all agreed that Notre Dame’s New York Yankees inspired uniforms was the run away winner, and I got to say I agree with y’all. While Miami’s uniforms were made of real trash, those Notre Dame uniforms were actual trash. Anyways, moving on to this week, it’s GAME WEEK Y’ALL! Let’s celebrate with some #goacc before the season starts! We’ve got some hilarious entries this week and I think this one will be a close vote. What do y’all think? 1. Boston College plays UMass this season...and it’s not airing locally in Boston (via @danwolken)

Good lord, how does this even happen? I know Boston is not well known for being a college sports city, but you have two of your universities playing eachother how the hell is that not going to be aired locally? Is John Swofford somehow trolling Boston College with this? I’d be irate if I was a Boston College fan.

3. Furman’s quarterback is actually also a Clemson student and will play against Clemson this season (via @ap_top25)

I’m surprised Dabo hasn’t gone on a tirade about how this sort of program is hurting the game and integrity of football or some unmitigated BS. Can totally see it now in his postgame speech. “WE HAD TO OVERCOME THE ADVERSITY OF BEATING THIS TEAM 49-0 BECAUSE THEIR STARTING QB IS ONE OF OUR OWN.” Good grief, shut up Dabo.

This is pretty hilarious, and while we all know that Clemson will likely crush Furman, how fun for this guy would it be to win that game?

This seems like a marriage made in heaven. The son of Jeff George and Pitt football. FEEL THE MEDIOCRITY!
