NC State is still pursuing possible additions to its 2019 recruiting class, and among them is Oak Hill Academy wing/forward Christian Brown. Brown scored 22 points in a high-profile matchup against IMG Academy over the weekend, and afterward told ZagsBlog.com’s Ryan McMullen that he’s interested in visiting the Wolfpack.
Here’s what Brown had to say about Kevin Keatts and the Wolfpack program:
“They play a face-paced style and I’m a fast-paced player. Coach [Kevin] Keatts, he puts people in the NBA and he’s a great coach. They have a great campus.”
Brown also has interest in Pittsburgh, Illinois, Clemson, and Georgetown a this point. He is a consensus four-star prospect in the 2019 class and a top-100 player overall. He’s ranked 62nd in the 2019 class by 247Sports. The predictions for his college destination by 247’s recruiting experts leans heavily toward NC State at the moment.
The Pack has two commitments for 2019, both of them guards: point guard Jalen Lecque—who may end up pursuing the NBA Draft and skipping college—and combo guard Dereon Seabron, who committed last week.
