NC State rallies from 8-point halftime deficit to beat Miami, 87-82

Man. You guys. Guys? The basketball team is good.

It was a dark time for the majority of the second half, on account of State spending most of it behind. But then Markell Johnson happened. It’s crazy how talented Markell is. He had an answer every single time for what Miami managed—and that was the difference.

State wasn’t much good today, but State had Markell, who finished with 20 points, and he made the difference. You don’t have to be great when you have a talent like Markell, who can easily make up the difference in a close game.

NC State needed that today. And Markell was essential down the stretch. We’re 13-1 and you can yell about it. Big-time win today.
