Week 13 Football: What to watch

If you didn’t realize there were games on Tuesday night, no worries; you only missed two boring MAC blowouts. Wednesday night also features another MAC game, but this one should actually be pretty entertaining.

Thursday night features our very own NC State against a team that both SP+ and Sagarin agree is really awful... Oh no, I think I just jinxed us...

MOVING ON!

All of NC State’s 2019 non-conference opponents (ECU, WCU, WVU, Ball State) have noon games Saturday, so if you want to catch up on how those foes are doing, have at it. Actually, maybe don’t. ECU is playing UConn in a match-up of the only remaining winless AAC teams, Alabama is going to gut WCU, WVU will get mercilessly killed by OK State, and meanwhile Ball State is out of contention for the MAC East title. BORING. (Okay, y’all know I’ll be watching that ECU game).

What you should be watching in the opening round of Saturday games is that Penn State @ Ohio State game. OSU gets just their second real test of the year, and while PSU did lose at Minnesota, they’re still a legit team and capable of knocking off the Buckeyes.
