NC State’s club hockey team is usually pretty good, but this year they have been extra pretty good, and by that I mean they haven’t lost a single game all year long. That’s given the Wolfpack the opportunity to compete at the D-II nationals in Frisco, Texas, later this month.
Fortunately they’ve already raised enough money to get themselves out there—the club team has no financial backing from the athletics department—but they’re still taking donations for meals and program enhancements down the road. They can use whatever support you might want to offer, and you can also help ‘em just by buying a ticket to the Carolina Hurricanes’ home game Friday night.
The ‘Canes have been generous enough to donate a portion of ticket sales to the Wolfpack program.
The start of nationals for State is March 22—it’s a round-robin pool play format where the winner of each pool moves on to single elimination.
