A quick roundup of Debbie Yow’s exit interviews

Debbie Yow’s last day on the job as athletics director at NC State was last Friday and not surprisingly, she’s had a lot of interview requests lately. I don’t know if this is all of the interviews she did on the way out, but here is a collection of them:

— Joe Giglio from the N&O with Yow. This one in particular is worth your time because Joe is good at asking questions. Those questions don’t get candid answers, but they’re good questions. Here’s one example:

Q: With everything you’ve gone through with the FBI investigation, do you regret hiring Mark?

Yow: “I regret the situation we find ourselves in and I don’t know that Mark has anything to do with it. Neither does anyone else. No one even knows if Orlando has done anything.

“I just regret, in general, that we’re going through something and we don’t know what the ‘something’ is and if there is a ‘something.’”

If your eyes roll out of your head reading someone’s response to a question, then it was probably a good question.
