Tim Kidd-Glass has entered the transfer portal. Kidd-Glass has been a key contributor for the Pack the past two seasons - essentially splitting time with starter Dexter Wright at the safety position. With Wright graduating, TKG was projected to be the new starter this upcoming season.

Thankfully, there is talented depth at the safety spot. Tanner Ingle has moved to safety after playing nickel last season. Based on what we saw last year, safety seems like a great fit for him. De’von Graves played well enough as a true freshman that the staff didn’t redshirt him despite the depth that already existed at safety. True freshman Khalid Martin also arrives on campus as one of the jewels of last years recruiting class. You never want to lose the leadership and experience Tim Kidd-Glass would have provided for this team, but there is reason to believe that whoever ends up being the starter will be a key piece for the Pack defense for the next few years.
