NC State secures commitment from 2020 LB Devon Betty

Dave Doeren and Dave Huxtable have secured their first Linebacker commitment for NC State’s 2020 recruiting class. Devon Betty is a 3-star recruit from Fort Lauderdale, FL. He was on campus this weekend and gave his commitment while there.

Betty had competing offers from several other Power 5 programs, including Ohio State, Michigan, Texas, Oklahoma, Cancer, FSU, Sakerlina and Miami.

In an interview with 247 Sports, Betty describes the gameday at Carter-Finley being a big factor in securing his commitment while in Raleigh for the weekend.

NC State currently ranks as the #36 recruiting class for 2020, with the possibility of filling in more during the fall recruiting period.
