NC State’s live mascot, Tuffy II, who has been a part of the athletics family since 2016, passed away in his sleep last night. This exceptionally good dog had been suffering from a debilitating heart disease. He underwent treatment at State’s vet school.

Tuffy II was introduced to State fans back on Father’s Day in 2016, when he was still just a pup.
