NC State is adding some much-needed depth up front in the form of Daniel Joseph, a graduate transfer defensive end from Penn State. He is eligible to play immediately.

(“University of North Carolina State” and “WILFPACK” are unfortunate errors but hey, he’s new here.)
NC State was one of the schools that recruited Joseph out of high school, but the Illinois-native and former four-star prospect elected to stay in Big Ten country for college. He was a top-300 prospect in the class of 2016, but for whatever reason, never developed into a major contributor at Penn State.
This past season, he logged 123 snaps, which was only about 13% of the defensive plays. Four other guys saw more playing time at DE. He finished his Penn State career with 6.5 tackles for loss, including five sacks.
Hopefully the change of scenery does him some good and helps him get closer to reaching his potential
