And there was much rejoicing.

In a piece of good news today, Devon Daniels has removed his name from consideration for the 2020 NBA Draft. While Daniels has yet to officially say what his plans are, it appears at this time that he will be returning to the NC State basketball team next season. If this is the case, he will provide much needed veteran leadership and support for a team bringing in a young core. Daniels has one year of collegiate eligibility remaining.

The initial deadline for underclassmen to keep their name in the draft passed on Sunday, April 26th at 11:59pm. Other Wolfpack players DJ Funderburk and new recruit Josh Hall have apparently kept their names on the list. They can continue to test the waters until the following deadline of June 3rd at 5pm. This date is obviously in flux currently due to the possible slip of the draft or pre-draft activities in response to the ongoing COVID-19 situation.

Three cheers for Devon, someone mail him a milkshake.
