As stated in a post found at the NCAA's website, NCAA Women's Basketball is replacing the RPI with the NET.

The use of the NET for NCAA Women's Basketball will begin in the upcoming 20-21 season if there is one and it will replace the beloved Ratings Percentage Index as the major sorting tool to seed and select when needed teams for the NCAA Women's Basketball tournament.

The use of the NET for NCAA Women's Basketball was approved after evaluation of the use of the NET by NCAA Men's Basketball which began in the 2018-19 season. Taken into account with regard to switching to the NET for NCAA Women's Basketball was a ten year analysis of NCAA Women's Basketball statistical data by "Google Cloud Professional Services" (can't do notin without the cloud anymore except STAY AT HOME-wait, we need the cloud when forced to stay at home-long live the cloud or not).

One should note that the NET algorithm used by NCAA Women's Basketball will differ from that used in NCAA Men's Basketball. The algorithm was built specifically for NCAA Women's Basketball.
