BTP Pigskin Predictions: Boston College

After successfully avoiding a post-Clemson letdown loss and freshly coming off a bye week, NC State hits the road for just the second time this season - and the first time in ACC play. The Wolfpack will head north to Chestnut Hill to face a Boston College team that itself is coming off a bye week, in a game that will go a long ways to determining the eventual ACC Atlantic Division champion this year.

Despite winning two of the last three games at the venue, Alumni Stadium has been a veritable house of horrors for State since the Eagles joined the ACC. Over that span, the Pack has posted just a 2-6 record at Alumni Stadium, including some significantly lopsided losses.

Can the Wolfpack vanquish the Chestnut Hill demons of the past and pull out a significant road win? Or will a seemingly surging Boston College team add to the misery of State fans and strike a blow to the Wolfpack’s division title hopes?

Comment: “The logical side of my brain says the Pack win 31-24. The scarred Wolfpack side of my brain says the Pack lose 20-24. If the offense shows up, the Pack win since the defense seems to be the most consistently good part of this team.“
