For the third straight league road game, NC State will go in a modest favorite. The Wolfpack is an early field goal favorite to beat Florida State in Tallahassee, in another contest that looks like something of a toss-up.
FSU has looked a lot better over the last month than it did in September, turning around an 0-4 start by winning three out of four. And the Noles had a lead in Death Valley midway through the fourth quarter on Saturday before Clemson rallied to win.
Running the ball has been a key to FSU’s success—when they do that well, they’re competitive. The Seminoles have gone for 200+ rushing yards five times this season and averaged at least 5.7 YPC against Louisville, Syracuse, and UNC to spark their October winning streak.
This will be a challenge for an NC State defense that has a few things to shore up between now and Saturday.
