The Pack Wins On The Road At Louisville 89-83

First 3-0 start in ACC road games since 2001-2002

NCAA Basketball: N.C. State at Louisville Jamie Rhodes-USA TODAY Sports

Game Summary:

Our depth and experience were the differences in this game. Our depth helped us absorb 24 fouls. Our experience helped us retain our composure with the home team’s crowd going nuts while they made a big run to catch up and they kept the game close to the end.

We had a 14-point lead (83-69) with 2:18 left. From that point, they scored 14 points, and we scored the final 6 point difference – 1 FG and 3 FT by DJ Horne, and one FT by Mo Diarra.

It was great to see our shooting touch was back, shooting 54.2% FG, 50% from 3PT, and 88.2 % from the free throw line.

Great to get another ACC road win. Great to avoid a bad loss. Great to recover from the UNC loss. Good to come back home after a solid win to face two good teams at PNC next week, Wake and VT.

Now we can enjoy the NFL playoff weekend.
