Open thread: College football whatever week it is

If we don’t hear from PirateWolf for a while, that’ll be understandable, because what happened to East Carolina in Tulsa on Friday night was one of the most ridiculous cases of ref-related game theft that I have ever seen.

It was suspend-that-officiating-crew-while-wondering-if-they-were-on-the-take bad. So bad that their being bought almost feels like the simplest explanation. And ECU went all the way the hell to Oklahoma in the middle of a pandemic to endure that shit. Honestly, what the fuck. (Tulsa’s game-winning drive did spike the over.)
