NC State hit a pair of walk-off home runs on Sunday, which is probably a program record, and in any case a string of events that was desperately needed. State notched its first win in a one-run game but more importantly added a couple of wins against a team that helps its tournament resume.
The Wolfpack will have the chance to make a #STATEMENT over these last few weeks, with the schedule setting up favorably for a run. Gonna take some work, maybe some walk-off home runs. Might require a lot of good luck. The opportunity is there, at least, after State's series-clinching Sunday.
