The schedule for the 2015 ACC baseball tournament is set, and every game of the event will be televised. NC State avoided the play-in game this season, thankfully, and will open pool play against Notre Dame on Thursday morning. The pools look like this:
Pool A
No. 1 Louisville
No. 4 Florida State
No. 5 Clemson
No. 8 UNC vs. No. 9 Virginia Tech (Pool A play-in game)
Pool B
No. 2 Miami
No. 3 Notre Dame
No. 6 NC State
No. 7 Virginia vs. No. 10 Georgia Tech (Pool B play-in game)
The teams play round-robin within their pools, with the winners of each pool meeting for the ACC title.
The Wolfpack didn't have much luck against Miami or Notre Dame during the regular season, going a combined 1-5 against them--but both of those series were on the road. State took two of three from UVA and did not play GT during the regular season.
Any victories State picks up in the tournament will be of the top-50 variety, so that's good. A win over Miami would be especially good, since the Canes are second in the RPI. That'd make them the Pack's best win of the season by that measure.
