NC State is 13-3 over its last 16 games, solidifying not only an ACC tournament championship spot but an NCAA tournament bid as well. The Pack took its lumps, no doubtin' that; State didn't win its first one-run game until late April.
But you can always count on this shit to even out, so long as the sample is large enough. Given enough games. NC State's fortune in close contests was certain to change, and that's what we've seen over the last few weeks. Such a rapid flip is improbable, but so is going oh-fer during the first half dozen one-run games of the year.
Don't read into any of that; it doesn't matter. NC State is going to beat FSU on Sunday afternoon, regardless of any gravity-related sanctions put in place by the baseball gods. Here and nowhere else.
