NC State swept its double-header against Notre Dame on Saturday to continue its streak of series wins in ACC play, which is fine and dandy and such, but more importantly, during the second game State wore these to pay tribute to its first College World Series team:

The baseball team has the best set of uniforms of any team on campus, but even so, it’d be nice to see more of this look, even if it’s maybe not the best for the #brand. Just once or twice a year on special occasions at home, that’s all I’m really asking for here. These uniforms are so clean and reek of nostalgia in all of the best ways.
NC State did them justice on the field, beating the Irish 13-5 in the second game of the twin bill. The Wolfpack, which is 28-7 overall, has a pivotal stretch upcoming with four games against UNC, three against Duke, and one against ECU.
