Before we know it, it’ll be baseball season and I’ll be ready to get hurt all over again. NC State announced its full 2020 slate on Tuesday, and the season gets underway with a three-game series against James Madison on Valentine’s Day.
The Wolfpack will play a couple of games again this season, including a matchup with South Carolina. NC State is also traveling to Minnesota in late February for a three-game set against the Gophers and games against Iowa and Purdue.

I was not aware of this, but the Minnesota Vikings’ stadium can be configured for baseball, and the Gophers play some early-season games there. All five of State’s games against the Big Ten will be in that stadium, which has some interesting dimensions.
In league play, State has nothing but tough road series, beginning with a trip to Virginia in early March. The home slate, on the other hand, isn’t so great, though the Tar Heels are in Raleigh this season.
