Oh man, this is either going to be a great weekend or an extremely painful one. NC State has drawn the Greenville regional, where East Carolina is the No. 1 seed and host. The Wolfpack will open with No. 3 Campbell on Friday afternoon, while the Pirates open with fourth-seeded Quinnipiac.

Obviously this sets up the potential for crazy atmosphere on Saturday night if both NC State and ECU come out winners on Friday. The Wolfpack and Pirates did not play during the regular season.

State did see Campbell twice, however, splitting those two contests. The Camels aren’t anybody to be overlooking after finishing the year 35-19 and champs of the Big South. They also finished with a top-60 RPI.

East Carolina is the No. 10 overall seed in the NCAAs after finishing the regular season 43-15. The Pirates are 24-5 at home.

State-Campbell is set for noon ET on Friday, with coverage on ESPN3.

The winner of this regional will go on to face the winner of the Louisville regional in the Super Regional round. Here is the complete NCAA tournament bracket.
