NC State’s reward for winning the Ruston Regional is a trip to Fayetteville, Arkansas to face the No. 1 overall seed. The best-of-three series between the Wolfpack and Razorbacks will get underway on Friday at 6 p.m. ET.
And good news, everyone: every game in the series will be on an ESPN network.

This is NC State’s fifth overall trip to the Super Regional round (this format began in 1999), and the fourth time it will be on the road. NC State went 0-2 at Miami in 2003, fell 1-2 to UGA in 2008, and went 0-2 against Florida in 2012. The only time State hosted the Supers was in 2013, when the Pack advanced to the College World Series.
It’s a huge task ahead for sure, what with Arkansas not having lost a weekend series this entire season, but there’s a first time for everything, and at least we’re going into the weekend knowing that NC State is playing its best baseball.
