As we approach the tip-off of the 2012-2013 basketball season, I’ve compiled Tampa-Pack’s Preseason ACC Basketball Power Rankings.

Similar to football season, I plan to update the Power Rankings weekly once the season tips off, and look forward to your thoughts and input.

1 (5) NC State - Last season 24-13 overall, 9-7 in conference, ACC Tournament Semi-finalist, and NCAA Sweet Sixteen

2 (2) Duke - Last season 27-7 overall, 13-3 in conference, ACC Tournament Semi-finalist, and NCAA first round.

3 (1) North Carolina - Last season 32-6 overall, 14-2 in conference, ACC Tournament Runner-up, and NCAA Elite Eight.
