College Basketball RPI: NC State Moves Up To No. 12

NC State picked up a signature win on Saturday, which not surprisingly helped its standing in the RPI--the Pack is up to 12th. Duke held on to the top spot anyway, while Miami moved up to fifth. That very winnable home game against the Hurricanes is looming large for the Wolfpack.

The overall picture for the league still ain't pretty--half the ACC remains outside the top 100. We're still gonna have to dodge a lot of potholes as league play progresses.

On the positive side, Boston College moved up 39 slots to 101, and Wake Forest is up 45 spots to 113. Florida State creeped a bit closer to the top 50, and Clemson got itself out of the 200s.
